¡Planetary Secret
¡BAROQUE
Description
[Machine Translation] This album is the first album released after the band changed its name to BAROQUE in capital letters and became a two-piece band with Rei (Vo) and Kei (Gt), creating a new BAROQUE sound with TOKIE (B) and KAJUN Taro (Ds) as well as live support. The title "plametary secret" means "the secret of the planet (= the secret of this world)," and the work itself depicts the theme of "comparing the stars in the night sky to the light of human life, and the soul of each person is the one and only existence essential to the creation of this universe," which deeply contacts the roots of human beings. The theme of this work is to contact the roots of human beings. This album is a dramatic change from their previous album "Nonfiction," which was reminiscent of the early days of BAROQUE, and in addition to "memento," a song that pushes forward the band sound, the band also challenges themselves to create edgy sounds. This album is the most pop album in the band's history, but also has a world view. The cover artwork, which features objects created by up-and-coming creator TAKASHI KONDO based on the album's theme, is also noteworthy.
