Since Merzbau began using his own instruments and analog equipment in addition to his laptop for live performances in the latter half of 2005, this series can be seen as the culmination of his experimentation with laptop-only performance and production starting in 1999. This album "1633+" is the complete version of the record "1633" released in 2004 in a limited edition of 25 from en/off in Germany, plus one previously unreleased sound source. Each of the recordings is a masterpiece with a different approach and a high degree of perfection.
