The boxed set contains 2 highly acclaimed, classic monster films; "The Valley of Gwangi," and "The Black Scorpion." "Gwangi" features creature animation effects by Ray Harryhausen, and the special effects for "Scorpion" were done by Harryhausen's mentor, Willis H. O'Brien. This limited edition set comes with a model figure of the Tyrannosaurus Rex from "Gwangi" in a deluxe box with a booklet. "The Valley of Gwangi" includes a Ray Harryhausen featurette, with comments from Harryhausen and ILM staff. "The Black Scorpion" includes "The Animal World" footage which was the final co-producing effort by Willis H.
