Description
The live action film "Gaku (Peak: The Rescuers)" based on the manga depicting volunteer mountain rescuers in Japan's Northern Alps. Stars Shun Oguri and Masami Nagasawa. Plot: A volunteer mountain rescuer, Sanpo Shimazaki climbs mountains all over the world and hopes to share his knowledge of the mountains to others. When Sanpo is called into action he never blames survivor in need of help even though their predicament is usually caused by them. New volunteer mountain rescuer, Kumi Shiina comes to his team and undergoes a strict training regiment under the guidance of rescue leader Masato Noda and Sanpo. She grows up as a rescuer, but cannot help people due to difficult situations. Kumi becomes tired and loses her confidence. Then a mountain blizzard starts to blows. . . Comes with a bonus DVD with making-of, event footage, teaser, trailer, and more.
