[Machine Translation] Yutaka Shiina, the greatest neo-bop pianist of all time, has formed a quintet with some of New York's finest musicians to release an album that expresses the world of imagination on a grand scale that soars through the heavens and touches the heart, with a focus on the straight-ahead swing of the Jazz tradition. The special quartet of Tim Armacost (ts, ss), Kyoshi Nakamura (b), and Rudy Royston (ds) expanded into a quintet with the addition of Mike Rodriguez (tp) for recording. Yutaka Shiina trio's regular drummer Junji Hirose also guested on two tracks. Focusing on straight-ahead swing, the album features mainly original compositions with an overwhelming sense of speed and imagination.
