¡Ryukyu Symphony Orhestra
¡Ryukyu Symphony Orhestra (conducted by Naoto Otomo)

 Description
[Machine Translation] A wonderful encounter between an orchestra and Okinawan music. The sound world that develops sometimes delicately and sometimes dynamically is unique and one-of-a-kind. The performance is full of emotion, made possible only by an Okinawan orchestra. This album was born from the idea of "creating an album of Okinawan music with an orchestra" and "creating Okinawan music without sansen (three-stringed instrument), island drums, or vocals, but with an orchestra playing alone. The album includes familiar and familiar songs such as "Shima Uta" by The Boom, "Dojin" covered by Rimi Natsukawa, and "Asatoya Yunta," a famous Okinawan folk song. The Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra, which began with a passionate desire to create and nurture a full-fledged professional orchestra in Okinawa, will be in charge of the performance. The orchestra is made up of Okinawa residents and native Okinawan musicians. This is the first album of Okinawan music performed by an orchestra! The very friendly arrangements and performances are recommended for not only fans of Okinawan music, but also for classical music fans, pop music fans, and a wide range of people across generations. Conducted by Naoto Otomo, a representative of the Japanese classical music world, and arranged by the up-and-coming Yoshihiro Nagayama, the 42-member full orchestra presents a work of its best effort.
