Min Tanaka began his solo dance career in 1966, making his international debut at the Paris Fall Arts Festival in 1978, and has since collaborated with artists from around the world. He has given more than 3,000 dance performances to date. His filmography to date includes a wide variety of works from Hollywood to Asia. Director Isshin Inudo, who became friends with Min Tanaka after he was offered a part in "Maison de Himiko" ( 05 ), filmed Min Tanaka's dance from August 2017 to November 2019 while traveling to Portugal, Paris, Tokyo, Fukushima, Hiroshima, Ehime, and other cities. The film is full of imagination. The animation by Koji Yamamura, the first Japanese to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for "Touzan," emotionally depicts Min Tanaka's childhood and unravels his unwavering way of life. The music will again be composed by Koji Ueno, who also worked with director Inudo on "Zero Focus" and "Nobo no Shiro" and won the Best Music Award at the Japan Academy Prize.
