Description
Directed by Roman Polanski (Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown), the thriller stars Johnny Depp as a sleazy book dealer who is hired by an unknown patron who has obtained a copy of a rare book called "The Ninth Gate." There are only three copies of the book in existence and he orders the Depp character to go find the remaining two in order to compare them. He finds out that book is said to have been written by the devil himself, and weird and deadly things start happening at every turn during his journey...
