Directed by Jonathan Mostow (U-571), the made-for-cable movie was shown in 1991 in the U.S. to audiences' acclaim. The Air Force thriller stars Peter Strauss ('Nick of Time') as Lieutenant Colonel Ryan who was the superior officer of an Air Force fighter pilot who is driven mad and decides to bomb what he believes is the most sinful of all American cities, Las Vegas. It's the first time this longer 'director's cut' version is coming out in Japan.
