 Description
Ken Loach's 1967 film is his first theatrical feature (He had already done plenty of TV films up to then). It follows the story of a young woman who has made a series of bad choices in her life. Terence Stamp's footage from this film is used in Steven Soderbergh's "The Limey" to depict the younger days of his Limey character. Carol White, who plays the lead character, won the best actress award at the film festival in Czech Republic. She also appears in the Limey footage with Stamp as his wife.
