Description
Based on the manga of the same name by the legendary manga/anime artist Osamu Tezuka. The 1996 anime movie was made by Osamu Dezaki and Akio Sugino, the team responsible for the Black Jack OVA series. 1996 happened to be the 50th anniversary of Tezuka's professional debut. The artist was also a medical doctor, and this show is a hard-edged anime drama with a humanistic touch, set in the medical world. This DVD contains the film in widescreen anamorphic format. Remastered with a new telecine from the original negative. Comes with a 4-page all color booklet.
