Description
This is the first-time-to-DVD of the special anime movies by Osamu Tezuka made for a charity TV program. It contains the first four animes for this show, newly masted for this release. Includes 'Banderbook' which is the first 2 hour anime special presented on Japanese television that boasted a high audience rating, 'Marine Express,' the Sci-Fi mystery classic with all of Tezuka's popular characters making appearances, 'Fumoon' which is the anime based on 'Kitarubeki Sekai' written and directed by Hisashi Sakaguchi. The "star system" employed here allows Tezuka characters such as Black Jack, Atom (Astroboy), Rock, Pinoko, Sapphire, et al. appear playing different parts in different segments as if they were real-life actors. This makes the animes included even more enjoyable. Comes with deluxe special features.
