Priced-down reissue. Waynes World, Party Time! Excellent! "Wayne's World" is definitely one of the most successful and certainly the funniest among many "Saturday Night Live" spin-off movies. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey star as Wayne and Garth who are hired to do their own show on a local station whose ad executive (Rob Lowe) has his own agenda. Lowe is also quite funny as the "bad guy". He and Myers must have became pals since he later appeared in Myers' "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" (as the Young Number Two), and also in the deleted scene of the first "Austin Powers" movie. It's the most intelligent comedy ever made... not. However, inspite of its apparent "dumb" exterior, the film's got many intelligently structured layers and brilliant ideas... really.
