Description
A fantasy drama about the life of Forrest Gump, a man who is intelectually challenged, but is a fast runner and a very nice guy. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, who were later united for 'Cast Away.' Forrest accidentally meets some of the most important people in the history of the U.S. (J.F.K., Elvis Presley, John Lennon, just to name a few), and later becomes famous himself but that didn't change his innocent personality a bit. The film also boosted the careers of Gary Sinise and Mykelti Williamson, both fine actors. Mrs. Gump's (Sally Field) classic line, "Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." has been parodied countless times ever since.
