¡Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
¡Movie

 Description
Possibly, the best theatrical Star Trek movie to date. Leonard "I'm not Spock" Nimoy's second directorial (theatrical) effort. It combines comedy with a great sci-fi plot which involves Earth's imminent danger not from an invading force but from an alien probe on a mission to communicate with what they deem as Earth's most advanced and intelligent lifeform, the humpback whales. I for one think if a Galactic Peace Conference is to take place somewhere around the Fishhead Nebula or whatever, a whale should go there as Planet Earth's representative. I truly believe most of the Galaxy's peace seeking sentient lifeforms would understand the whale language thousands of times better than human languages. It's just my opinion but just look at what's going on on Earth's surface and compare it to what's happening underwater with these cetaceans whose thoughts combine dreams with reality, whose languages are probably a hybrid of what humans express as art, music, truth-seeking philosophy, literature, religion, etc. (as opposed to our "Hiya. How's it hanging?" kinda language.) On the other hand they could be constantly swearing at each other ("Hey, kiss my big butt-fin!") but something tells me that's not the case....
