Description
Regular priced edition. Well crafted thriller from director Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas.) Andy Garcia is cop Raymold Avila who joins the Internal Affairs Department of the LAPD. He starts investigating the shady activites within the police department and soon must confront cop Dennis Peck (Richard Gere) who is a devious manipulator and a womanizer. Gere is simply spellbinding as the wretched villain, while Garcia too delivers a subdued but outstanding performance. Laurie Metcalfe (of 'Roseanne' fame) is excellent as Garcia's partner, and so is Nancy Travis as his wife.
