 Description
[Machine Translation] A craftsman who has captivated guitar legends creates one-of-a-kind guitars from the building's vintage scrap wood. A week in the life of a unique guitar store that continues to fascinate guitarists. Carmine Street Guitars is staffed by three people: Rick, a guitar craftsman without a computer or cell phone; Cindy, a punkishly dressed apprentice; and Rick's mother. The store's one rule, which attracts guitarists from around the world, is that guitars are made from scrap wood from buildings in New York City. Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, and other greats have used Rick's guitars. A string of popular guitarists, including Bill Frisell, Mark Lebow, and Charlie Sexton, visited the store during the play. In addition, film director Jim Jarmusch is also in the store. The film lavishly captures them holding Rick's guitar and playing happily. This film is directed by Ron Mann, a documentary filmmaker known for "Robert Altman: Hollywood's Most Hated and Loved Man" and other works.
