Description
[Machine Translation] BO NINGEN is a London-based four-piece band consisting of Taigen Kawabe (b/vo), Yuki Tsujii (g), Kohhei Matsuda (g/synth), and Akihide Monna (dr). The band has released three studio albums and supported Primal Scream, Pop Group, Super Furry Animals, and Savages, and released their first album "Sudden Fictions" in six years. Produced by Drew Brown, who has engineered albums for Radiohead, Beck, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and others, the lead single "Minimal" features a special guest appearance (vocals) by Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream). Recorded in London, Tokyo, L.A., and other locations around the world in constant search of inspiration, the band embodies a contemporary art/music scene that thrives on cross-cultural crossover, blending disparate sounds and influences into an intense and diverse torrent of grooves. The band's most ambitious and accomplished work to date, it combines elements of post-punk, krautrock, psychedelic, dance music, and more with BO NINGEN's unique flair for cutting-edge, pop-influenced output.
