Description
DVD release of the live action film "Uta-Hime Kanojo Tachi no Smoke On The Water (Rock'n'Roll Housewives)" based on the novel written by Takahisa Igarashi starring Hitomi Kuroki, Tae Kimura, Shizuyo Yamazaki, and Miki Maya. Plot: Mieko is a housewife who looks happy, but actually her irritation is about to boil over because of her husband who is indifferent to her, her daughter who refuses to go to school, and her mother-in-law who is really sarcastic. One day, Mieko meets Kaori, Yukimi, and Shinko at a convenience store where Mieko works, and the four not-so-glorious fourtysomething women decide to form a rock band and start practicing "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple. Then the four receive an offer to play music at charity concert at a high school. Can they make it success even they are just like beginner?
