¡Moonlight Jellyfish[Regular Edition]
¡Japanese Movie

 Description
Director Kohsuke Tsurumi's feature film debut is an intense character study of two brothers. One (Ryo Kimura) suffers from Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), a real disease afflicting over 500 Japanese who cannot go out in the sun and be exposed to ultraviolet light. Supporting the youngster is his older brother (Tatsuya Fujiwara from "Battle Royale I & II"), whose hard childhood has led him up the ladder of the local Yakuza. Their bleak futures are brightened by the arrival of a young nurse (Aya Okamoto), who has been saved by the older brother from an assault. She soon changes their lives for the better. "Moonlight Jellyfish" is a stylish presentation, using visual elements that include the moon, the sun, and a jellyfish, who floats aimlessly in the sea, but can cause enormous pain if one gets too close.
