Description
DVD box set release from TV series "Asaki Yumemishi - Yaoya Oshichi Ibun" starring Atsuko Maeda. Includes the complete ten episodes. Plot: In February 1681, a big fire occurs at Edo Hongo Maruyama. Due to the fire, Yoaya (a vegetable store) "Yaogen" is also burned down in a spreading fire. The owner of this vegetable store sends his daughter, Oshichi to Daijo-ji Temple to stay until their store and home are rebuilt. There, Oshichi meets a man named Kichisa who works at the temple. The two fall in love, but soon her father's store and home are rebuilt, and she returns home. Yet, her father likes a worker in their store, Kanzo and thinks him to be Oshichi's husband. However, Oshichi does not say yes because of her feelings for Kichiza. That trigger a tragedy... Comes with a 16-page leaflet.
