 Description

An original musical drama centering on a young Japanese man, depicting the hidden love hidden in the history of Shanghai with its glamorous and dark sides, the lights and shadows of the times, and the human group portrayed in a gorgeous and dramatic manner with a live jazz band. The script is by Makino Nozomi, a leading figure in the world of theater, depicting a dense human drama. The director is Masahiko Kawahara, the "most in-season director" of the moment, who has worked on a wide range of genres from large theaters to live music clubs, with his flamboyant and edgy direction. Naoto Fujiki plays the main character, Kiyotaka Shirakawa. The heroine, Hong-Hwa Chou, is played by Maiko, and Chi-Qiang Chou, Hong-Hwa's older brother, is played by Ryosei Konishi.
