Takeshi Shibuya has been active not only as a pianist but also as a composer and arranger of many songs, movies, and TV programs. Surprisingly, he has recorded only two works as a piano trio, and this is the only non-live recording. This work has been popular as a work where Shibuya's charms can be enjoyed in a dense and direct manner. The album features seven songs, including three originals. The performances are sometimes brisk, sometimes halting, and all of them are masterpieces that exude a deep flavor. New Japanese commentary is included, digitally remastered in 2018, and in A-format paper jacket faithful to the original LP.
