¡Schubert: Schwanengesang
¡Classical V.A.
Description
[Machine Translation] Baritone Treichel, who began her career as a soloist at the Berlin State Opera in 1988, is now an outstanding Lieder singer and has performed all over the world. She has recorded Schubert's three major lieder collections, including "The Beautiful Water Mill Girl" in 2004 and "Winterreise" twice in 1998 and 2007, but there has been no CD recording of "Swan Song," although she performed it in a recital when she visited Japan. In this long-awaited album, she sings a total of 20 songs in a warm voice, including the usual "Swan Song" collection and four songs with independent numbers, such as "Swan Song". The warmth of her voice and her longtime partner Oliver Paul are also a delight to listen to. [Performed by] Roman Trakel (baritone) / Oliver Paul (piano)
