¡Schumann: Violin Works
¡Classical V.A.

 Description
[Machine Translation] Among Schumann's many works, the violin works unfortunately do not receive much attention. However, the three violin sonatas all have a peculiar darkness that overflows with anguish in their introspective moods, a characteristic of Schumann's works. The second sonata is the work of Schumann's 41st year, and the entire work was carefully constructed by Schumann, who was dissatisfied with the quality of the first sonata he had written earlier. Vijaya was born in Berlin, began playing the violin at the age of four, and studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. In this album, under the piano and conducting of J. Eschenbach, Vijaya gives a lively performance.
