[Machine Translation] Sun Volt, an alternative country band led by Jay Farrar, formerly of Uncle Tupelo, releases their first new album in four years! Sun Volt is an alternative country band formed in 1994 by Jay Farrar, who is also known for his work with Uncle Tupelo. This is their first new album in four years, following their 6th album "American Central Dust", which was their first album after transferring to Rounder and reached #44 in the US. The sound created by Farrar is based on traditional country music, but has gained popularity as a contemporary country-folk sound that draws on the rock spirit of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and even grunge.
