Description
[Machine Translation] The first reunion album in 16 years from Soundgarden, the grunge heroes along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam! Soundgarden, the grunge heroes along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Alice in Chains, and others, came out from Seattle, Washington, USA. The band was a representative of "grunge rock," a genre that even Kurt Cobain respected, before disbanding in 1997, headlining Lollapalooza, the largest outdoor festival in the U.S., in 2010, and releasing a live album "Live on I5" in 2011. Soundgarden has been moving forward step by step toward a new reunion album, releasing "Live on I5" in 2011, and has finally released a new original album! The band ensemble of Chris Cornell's ferocious vocals, Kim Sayle's guitar, Matt Cameron's drums, and Ben Sheppard's bass still produces a unique, black, swirling groove with strong influences from Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. This is the band's first album in 16 years since 1996's "Down On The Upside," which reached No. 2 in the U.S. The band's members are Chris Cornell, who worked as a solo artist with Audioslave after the breakup, Kim Sayle, who also worked with Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) in the unit Probot, and Matt Cameron, who joined Pearl Jam. The careers that each has carved out for themselves will surely trigger a new chemical reaction here, resulting in an unprecedented explosion. The producer is Adam Casper from Seattle, who has been associated with Soundgarden since the 1990s and is known for producing for Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, and others. The soft pack version, deluxe version with 3 additional demo versions, and jewel case version will be released at the same time.
