Description
[Machine Translation] Little Feat is the latest release from the American rock band Little Feat, which has been active since its formation in 1969, despite breaking up, reforming, and changing members! The band is a veteran of more than 40 years, and has maintained an authentic sound that fuses American roots music such as New Orleans rhythm & blues, country, and jazz. Two of the original members, Lowell George ( g, vo ) and Richie Hayward ( ds ) have passed away, but Bill Payne ( p, key, vo ) is still alive and well, as are Paul Barrere ( g, vo ), Kenny Gradney ( b ), Sam This is the first album in four years since "Join the Band" in 2008, and 10 of the 12 songs are original new compositions. Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead contributed lyrics to the album, and two covers by Mississippi John Hurt and Willie Dixon add color to the album.
