Description
[Machine Translation] Rush, one of the greatest rock trios of all time and a legend on the rock scene, has released their 20th original studio album, their first in five years! Following the release of their latest live album "Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland" in December 2011, Rush, one of the greatest treasures of the current rock scene with over 40 million albums sold worldwide, finally releases their 20th studio album! The live version of the album already includes two new songs, and the band's sound, which has the Rush stamp on it without losing its aggressiveness, has attracted Rush fans of the past, while its fast-paced style has gained tremendous support from younger fans as well. The band has already announced that they will release their latest studio album in 2012, which has already created a lot of buzz among fans. With a sound that has the power to attract not only progressive hard rock fans and traditional Rush fans, but also Dream Theater fans and a wider range of "hard rock listeners," the band's presence as a "legend" and an "active" rocker is outstanding! Recording of "Clockwork Angels" began in April 2010 with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Rasculinetz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, etc.). Nick also produced Rush's previous album, "Snakes and Arrows," and both albums were co-produced by Nick and Rush. The album's opening two songs, "Caravan" and "BU2B," were completed during the first sessions at Blackbird studios in Nashville, and were performed during the highly successful TIME MACHINE TIME MACHINE TOUR, which ran from June 2010 to June 2011. After the tour, recording of "Clockwork Angels" resumed in the fall of 2011 at Revolution Recording in Toronto, and was completed in early 2012 at Ocean Way Studios in Hollywood. In early 2012, a string section was recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Hollywood, arranged by David Campbell. Clockwork Angels" tells the story of a young man's journey through the opulent and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy in pursuit of his dreams. The story is said to feature lost cities, pirates, anarchists, exotic carnivals, and a strict watchmaker who demands mechanical precision in every element of daily life. The world of "Clockwork Angels" will be adapted into a novel by science fiction writer Kevin J. Anderson and Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
