Description
[Machine Translation] A phantom album that connects "Runaway Without Tomorrow" and "Yami ni Howl Machi"! After the release of "Runaway Without Tomorrow" in 1975, it took three years until the release of "Darkness in the City" due to a lawsuit over the management of the band. The 21 unreleased songs included in the DARKNESS BOX are now included on the 2CD "THE PROMISE" and are counted as a new original album after 30 years of absence! The songs are of such a high quality that one wonders why they were not previously released. Highlights include the Rock version of the classic ballad "Racing in the Street," the original version of "Because the Night" (a collaboration with Patti Smith), the super POP "Someday ( We'll Be Together )," and the soul ballad "Soul Ballad with Great Vocals. The Brokenhearted", a soul ballad with great vocals, "Breakaway", and a full orchestral version of the title song "The Promise", a masterpiece.
