[Machine Translation] Formed in 1997 in Joensuu, a city in Northern Karjala, Finland, the five-piece melodic death metal band INSOMNIUM has been consistently releasing albums since their debut "In the Halls of Awaiting" in 2002. Their seventh album "Winter's Gate" (2016), an epic 40-minute concept album, debuted at No. 1 in their native Finland, and their eighth album "Heart Like a Grave" (2019) also debuted at No. 1 (and was their first No. 10 album in Germany). This album was released in 2021 and was produced by the band, who were forced to spend their time creatively and meaningfully in the studio during the lockdown of the Corona Disaster in 2020.
