Description
[Machine Translation] The soundtrack for the second Hollywood version of "GODZILLA", "Godzilla King of Monsters" (opening in theaters on May 31). The score is by Bear McCreary, creator of the TV drama series "The Walking Dead" and "Outlander". In addition to the newly drawn score, the soundtrack includes homages to the themes of Mothra and King Ghidorah as well as "Godzilla's Main Title Theme. Also included is a cover of the classic song "Godzilla" by the American hard rock group Blue Oyster Cult, which was inspired by the 1977 movie "Godzilla," just like the Hollywood version! The song is performed by System of a Down frontman Serge Tankian. He is backed by members of the virtual melodic death metal band DETHKLOK, including guitarist Brendon Small.
