[Machine Translation] As the originators of thrash metal, death metal, black metal, and all other forms of extreme metal, Venom continues to exert a tremendous influence on those who follow in their footsteps. To commemorate their 40th anniversary, Venom has released a 2-CD set of their early material, which can be called the scriptures of metal's dark history. This 2-CD set contains 22 selected songs from the first 4 albums released by the original lineup: "WELCOME TO HELL" (debut album in 1981), "BLACK METAL" (second album in 1982), "AT WAR WITH SATAN" (1983), and "POSSESSED" (1985). Disc 1 contains 22 songs carefully selected from the first four albums, and Disc 2 contains 21 songs from various compilations and reissues, including demos, outtakes, and B-sides.
