¡The String Quartets[2LP / Import Disc]
¡Jethro Tull

 Description
[Machine Translation] Jethro Tull, one of the leading figures of British progressive rock, has released more than 30 studio and live albums since their debut album "This Was/ Sunday Impressions" in 1968. That challenge is to perform a "classical" arrangement of Jethro Tull's music with a string quartet. This album, THE STRING QUARTETS, is a "Jethro Tull meets classic" sound created by Ian Anderson and John O'Hara of Jethro Tull, together with the Carducci String Quartet of England/Ireland. The sound of "Jethro Tull Meets Classic" is packed with these songs. These songs are orchestrated by John O'Hara. He and Ian Anderson selected the songs from a vast collection of Jethro Tull's compositions to create this album. And Jethro Tull's music will be performed by the up-and-coming Carducci String Quartet, which is highly regarded for its interpretation of contemporary music and has appeared at venues ranging from Wigmore Hall to Carnegie Hall and various other festivals. And John Anderson also joins the quartet on vocals, flute and mandolin, and John O'Hara on piano and celesta.
