The singer, songwriter, and Mali's rare multi-instrumentalist female artist has produced an album with John Parrish (PJ Harvey, Tracy Chapman, The Eels) following her last album "BEAUTIFUL AFRICA" in 2013. The album was produced by John Parrish ( PJ Harvey, Tracy Chapman, The Eels ). The album features Burkina Faso drummer Moise Ouattara, bassist Matthieu N'guessan from the Cote d'Azur, longtime collaborator Mamah Diabate, Malian ngoni player Mamah Diabate, guitarists Rodriguez Vangama and Stefano Pilia, bassist Reggie Washington, and backing vocals by Bule Mpania, Russell Tshiebua, and Stefy Rika. The album includes original compositions by Lockyer as well as a cover of Billie Holiday's famous "Strange Fruit".
