This compilation album is a compilation of the B-sides of her previously released singles as well as rare sound sources. B-SIDES & RARITIES" features her own covers of some of her favorite songs that have influenced Rumer. Among the artists she has covered are the Beach Boys ("The Warmth Of The Sun"), Paul Simon ("Long Long Day"), the Beatles ("Here Comes The Sun"), and duets with Dionne Warwick and Stephen Bishop. Burt Bacharach's voice is also featured on the album. Rumer was invited to California by Burt Bacharach after he heard her voice. She also sings Bacharach's "Alfie" on the album. Other songs on the album include "I Believe In You," the closing theme to the movie "Johnny English: A Reward for Comfort," the gospel-tinged "Frederick Douglass," a bossa nova version of the single "Dangerous" from her latest album, "Into Colour," and a compilation of songs from BBC Radio 2's Compilation. Also included is a cover of Christopher Cross' classic "Arthur's Theme" from the BBC Radio 2 compilation "Sound Of The 80's". All of these songs are not included on the album.
