Comprised of 10 new songs written and co-written by L.A.-based guitarist Ben Peeler, the album features Shelby's luminous vocals accompanied by a tight band. The album is a showcase for Shelby's diverse musical influences, including Southern Soul, Crescent City R&B, and Californian Country & Western, all with her own pop sensibility.
