Description
[Machine Translation] When you are really sad, boys can cry, too. Ha-chan is the fifth of six boys in the Shiroyama family. He is so sensitive that he cries when he hears that his kindergarten teacher is quitting, or when he worries about the whereabouts of the acorns in the nursery rhyme. The film presents a fresh portrayal of the process of his strong growth under the watchful eye of his family and as he runs around in the fields and mountains with his friends. This is the last work of psychologist Hayao Kawai, and it is an autobiographical novel that is both warm and sad.
