¡Hayao Miyazaki and The Ghibli Museum
¡Studio Ghibli

 Description
The Ghibli Museum of Art is a place that people from Japan and around the world want to visit at least once. Many of Hayao Miyazaki's long-time wishes to create such a museum are interspersed throughout the book. The book "Bijutsukan wo Tsukuru" is a collection of two volumes that describes how the museum was conceived and created, starting with the entrance that attracts children, the interior of the building, the movie theater, the permanent exhibitions, and the cafe, along with numerous image boards and sketches. In the 20 years since its opening, the museum has hosted a number of fascinating special exhibitions and had many visitors. In "Kikaku Tenji wo Tsukuru," Miyazaki's extensive collection of drawings and memos reveal the behind-the-scenes work that went into the realization of the thirteen themes he was deeply involved in. This is a set of two gorgeous volumes of permanent edition, all color illustrations, and more than 900 illustrations by Miyazaki Hayao for the Ghibli Museum.
