 Description
[Machine Translation] The correspondence between Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms was first made public in 1927, and Ritzmann has compiled a collection of over 800 letters between 1853, when the 20-year-old Brahms visited the Schumanns in Dusseldorf with the hope of becoming a composer, and 1896, just before Clara's death. From this collection of over 800 letters, 207 have been selected for this book. The translator is Mitsuko Harada, who published "The True Woman Clara Schuman" in 1941. She passed away at a young age shortly after completing the translation of this book. This is a long-awaited reprint.
