Description
[Machine Translation] Taiwan was under Japanese rule from 1895 to 1945. This documentary turns the camera on five Taiwanese people who spent their youth during that period and received Japanese language education as Japanese, to hear about their lives and complex feelings that were at the mercy of the times. Mitsuko Sakai's directorial debut, released in June 2009. A reduced-size pamphlet is enclosed.
