¡Poland no Uta - Chopin, Cello Works - (Japanese Title)
¡Ayumu Kuwata (cello)
Description
[Machine Translation] Chopin left more than a dozen songs during his lifetime. Although they are not well known, they are written with very beautiful melodies that only the composer, a melody maker, could have written. The cellist Ayumi Kuwata has arranged and recorded five of these songs that showcase the sound of the cello. The program includes three of Chopin's few original works for cello, making this an interesting and rewarding listen. This is the first new recording in about eight years by Ayumi Kuwata, who has won many fans as a soloist, NHK Symphony Orchestra player, and member of La Quartina. The original sound source was recorded at a high spec of 384 KHz, which makes the full sound of the cello more lustrous and deep.
