¡Uguiss (1983-1984) -40th Anniversary Vinyl Edition-[Limited Release]
¡Uguiss
Description
[Machine Translation] UGUISS debuted on the EPIC label in 1983 with Yoshiyuki Sahashi (guitar), Toshifumi Shibata (keyboards), Jun Matsumoto (drums), Satoru Ito (keyboards, synth bass), and Eiko Yamane (vocals). The following year, in 1984, UGUISS produced their second album, but suddenly disbanded before its release. Sahashi, Shibata, and Matsumoto are still active as session musicians at the forefront of J-POP music today, and their careers have built up to a point where it is no exaggeration to say that they have built the history of J-POP over the past 40 years. Their masterpiece 1st album, which can be said to be the starting point of their career, and the 2nd album, which has become a mirage, are coupled together and released as an analog reissue to commemorate the 40th anniversary of their debut! The sound full of the flavor of Western music of the 70s and 80s was outstanding and unique even in the 80s, and it has never aged, allowing you to fully enjoy their extraordinary talent. Now is the time to hear the one and only UGUISS sound again! Three live flyers and a promotional pamphlet from the band's debut are reprinted, and new liner notes and lyrics booklet are included. Cutting: Warner Music Mastering/SMS Shizuoka factory pressing.
