[Machine Translation] [URC (Underground Record Club) was a pioneering Japanese indie label that was born in 1969 and ceased its activities at the end of the 1970s. URC, which brought together Wataru Takada, Kenji Endo, Five Red Balloons, Ryo Kagawa, Happiendo, Nobuyasu Okabayashi, and many other cutting-edge talents, is the grandfather of Japanese folk/rock music. The rights to release the CDs were transferred to Sony Music in 2023, and this is the fourth in a series of CD reissues of URC's masterpieces that began in June. In June 1969, the third release for URC members was a split disc with Nobuyasu Okabayashi, entitled "Land of Rest/Nobuyasu Okabayashi Recital". This "Land of Rest" is the first and last full-length album from URC, featuring seven songs from the split disc and five new songs. The song "Devil's Stocking" (Tr10) was later used as the theme song for the movie "Tokko-Ninkyo Jieitai" (1977/Directed by Tetsuto Hijikata). The song has also been covered by Kinoko Hotel and Tokusatsu (Kenji Ootsuki). 2023 remastered/High quality Blu-spec CD2 version.
