Description
[Machine Translation] (URC (Underground Record Club) was born in 1969 as a pioneer of Japanese indie labels and ceased its activities at the end of the 1970s. URC, which brought together Happi End, Nobuyasu Okabayashi, Tomoya Takaishi, Takashi Nishioka, Wataru Takada, and many other cutting-edge talents, is the progenitor of Japanese folk/rock music. In 2023, the rights to release URC's CDs will be transferred to Sony Music, which will begin re-releasing many of URC's masterpieces in June. The CDs will be remastered in 2023 and released on high-quality Blu-spec CD2 format.
