Description
[Machine Translation] FOLKS is a five-piece band formed in January 2013 by the Iwai brothers and their childhood friends, aged 23-25 and living in "Emino," a new residential area in Eniwa City, Hokkaido. Their first single is a dreamy and sentimental sound with the sensibility of a new generation and amazing arranging skills. The title track "HOMETOWN STORY" is a hybrid song about their hometown and friendship with an electro-tribal beat, and M-2 "Frenemy" is a cynical song about a friend who turns out to be an enemy, locked in a secret room. M-3 "Paradise" depicts a convenient love story with a languid yet sophisticated sound.
