Description
[Machine Translation] A wealthy bourgeois woman invites a young stranger, soaking wet on a park bench adjacent to her house, into her home, bathes him, and feeds him, beginning a strange relationship between the two. This film is part of a thriller/horror/fantasy film trilogy that explores the relationship between women and personality disorders. Based on a full-length novel by Richard Miles, a Hollywood child actor turned writer. Although this is an early work in Altman's career, it challenges the themes of female obsession and sexual frustration, and the use of Laszlo Kovacs as cinematographer (who also shot Easy Rider in the same year as this film) is a bold attempt to create bold images.
