¡Beethoven: String Quartets
¡Quartetto di Cremona

 Description
[Machine Translation] The Cremona Quartet, now Italy's leading quartet, has recorded the complete Beethoven string quartets between 2012 and 2015, now available as a set. The set is available in SACD hybrid format, the same as when it was sold separately. The Beethoven recordings have been highly acclaimed, with Beethoven's 7th & 8th Quartets receiving the 2018 ICMA Award (International Classical Music Awards) in the chamber music category. The recordings are notable for their use of different instruments for each work, allowing the listener to enjoy the differences in tone quality. The graceful tones of the famous Guarneri, Amati, and Guadagnini instruments played by Cristiano Guarco on the first violin are nothing short of exquisite. The viola used in the recording of the Grand Fugue was made by Pietro Gargini, born in 1980. Imported, with Japanese obi and commentary.
