Description
Blu-ray release of a film "Au revoir l' ete (Hotori no Sakuko)" starring Fumi Nikaido and directed by Koji Fukada. The film won Golden Montgolfiere (Grand Prix) at Three Continents Festival in 2013. Plot: After the fail to enter a university, Sakuko decides to spend for two weeks at the end of the summer at a house of one of her ants Mizuho, who is going on on a trip, on the recommendation of her another ant, Mikie. The house is located in a seaside town, and she enjoys the life in the town and hangs out with Mikie, Mikie's ex-boyfriend Ukichi, and his family. Then Sakuko gradually becomes close to a nephew of Ukichi from Fukushima . . .
