Description

Plot: A senior in high school, Togeru Kazamachi, whose career as a track and field athlete was cut short due to a serious injury. Tormented by a sense of loss and alienation, he runs out in front of a running car as if attracted to it, and before he knows it, he's turned into a ghost. Confused, Togeru flees the scene and meets Goro, Junpei and Chitta, all members of the anachronistic Showa-era "Wanpakudan" (gang of yankees). They have not yet attained Buddhahood since their death about 40 years ago. Meanwhile, Birch, a former member of the "Wanpakudan" has become a member of the "Boreizoku," a group of mischief-makers in the spirit world. Although Togeru feels a generation gap between the foolish and hot Yankees left behind in the Showa era, he gradually begins to feel a sense of camaraderie. They have their own reasons for staying in this world, and there is a hidden "truth" that they themselves do not know...! They are caught up in mysterious disturbances in the spirit world, but they overcome them through friendly competition with their friends in this heartwarming and funny heartwarming ghost comedy!
